In these times of turmoil, scarcity, and uncertainty in Venezuela it is refreshing to know that there are groups such as FUNDASEMA (Seeds of Tomorrow), a non-profit, non-governmental organization which aims to stimulate and promote the educational and sociocultural development of children between 1 and 12 years old so they can turn into agents of change in their own communities. GSP had the honor of documenting FUNDASEMA’s latest project in the town of Adícora, Falcon State, Venezuela. 60+ children were provided free medical and dental assistance, referrals, vaccinations, medicines, and health kits by volunteer doctors and coordinators, as well as a nutritious breakfast, snacks, and entertainment. For more information and for donations please contact Dr. Lara Medina, Director, at Lara.Medina@Fundasema.com or visit http://www.Fundasema.com
